The ABBA group which started its humble beginnings in the United Arab Emirates in the 1990s under the vision of Mr. Vijayan Thomas who was the first-generation entrepreneur, had started ABBA International and under his vision grew to be become a multi divisional organisation in many fields specialising in power generation, oil fields, infrastructure such as roads and bridges, airport development and in ship repair industries.

With the oil boom in the Gulf in the 1990s, the company grew rapidly and opened branches in the UAE and Bahrain.

ABBA International which became a known name among customers, including Siemens, ABB, SAE SADELMI, John Brown Engineering, B.K Gulf, DBB, Areva among others was known not only for its quality and timely delivery, but also for meeting its highest safety standards with its internal HSE department which was run by European consultants from time to time to update and improve its best practices as per international standards and appreciated by our international customers.

ABBA International had set its objectives that very few of our competitors could imitate as we had specialists from Europe on board, who would lead the company on various topics to meet the customers and industry requirements, including taking a human- centric-approach.
